From the first foray, the nose shows off ripe Meyer lemon, Chantilly cream, lemon meringue and graham cracker, while a hint of white pepper and ocean spray open in time. On entry, what emerges is a wine of multiple layers, from the immediate hit of rich lemon sorbet to the delectable mille-feuille that reaches the depths of the palate with hints of caramel and sea salt.
